A 5 part series on our trip from Budapest to Bamako will air on Travel Channel in May. Morocco, Mauritania and Mali will each receive their own episode on the series. In the meantime here's a little teaser:

Any chance you Budapest - Bamako guys would leave less garbage behind? Had the "honor" to follow your tracks from Assa to Smara: truly disgusting! Ok, shooting rockets into the night sky at the base camp just out of Assa, Ok utterly destroying the pistes that some people (the local nomads) actually use for work and living, Ok a car getting smashed in the middle of a perfectly flat salt pan before Hawza, but do you really have to throw EVERYTHING throught the window as you go!? Looks like a southbound locust plague. Unbelivable! :ban:
