Motorcycle Parking Around the World
 

Greeting Hubbers,

The local motorcycle and scooter groups in our city are working with our local government to develop a plan that puts in place parking specifically for motos and scooter. I'm hoping to get feedback from you guys to help us develop the Parking Plan by sharing how motos/scooters parking is done in your part of the world.

If your city is scooter/moto parking friendly...can you tell me what parking is like in your part of the world? The rules and pictures of the designated spaces and signs??

Here in NSW Australia the 'Motorcycle Council' is working towards having the start and end of each block parking spaces designated for motorcycles .. this means the lower vehicles (motorcycles) that don't block the sight lines as much as say a truck near intersections are better - thus improving safety.

So ideally at any one cross street there would be 8 parking bays ... one near each coner....
