Motorhead and gearhead travellers find Thailand target intensive
10 Attachment(s)
For the AViD motorhead or advanced gearhead traveler, one of the draws to the country was how millions of motorbikes could lead to some of the most interesting finds on the planet. Below are some of the “finds” travellers discovered, causing the motorbike tourist, whether walking or driving, to scratch their head and ask themselves, “I wonder how that motorbike got here or how they get away with making those modifications for street riding?” Some were for rent, some for show, some for sale and some stuffed into the back of a small motorbike workshop with an unknown status.

Thai Adventure Motorbike

Weird and rare was this "adventure" motorbike. Weird in that it did not have a sticker proclaiming the owner was seeking adventure. And rare because the motorbike is currently only sold in Thailand, a GPX. Under 250cc displacement, it's owner, a Thai motorbike mechanic, was headed off the mountain pavement roads to do some vacation camping and cooking in the forests. He said in a most pleasant manner that it was his experience that it is not the brand, accessories or marketing that make the motorbike adventure suited, it was the driver.
