Multi-bike insurance in UK

Can anyone recommend a company to use for multi-bike insurance in the UK please?

Same here; four bikes fully comp, no security, no garage. Just shy of £240.00.

I'm mid forties with clean license, and one shunt in the last five years

(just to note, they are garaged and locked but I have heard that if you state always locked in garage, alarms set, etc and the bike gets nicked without those in place, they just won't pay out)

Tis true , if the vehicle is stolen outside your house overnight and its not in the garage ( if you say thats where you keep it ) then they and most other companies wont pay out as youve breached your contract with them .

Blimey BYT, that seems like a bargain. Where do you live - the Outer Hebrides?

That must be CN but on a good day. They quoted me close to that for my five worthless wrecks that are tucked up in bed with me each night and never go anywhere without a radicalised Doberman to keep an eye on them. Not only that but I'm older than Methuselah, with a claim free record since the stone age and I only use them to go to and from evensong.

RH Insurance was £20 cheaper but without Eurorecovery. None of the other "players" wanted to know when I mentioned my "Visit Clackton" stickers - too highly modified.

bizarre isnt it , i dont pay much more then that for a six wheel policy - my excess is only £50 , which def upsets the Mrs as its lower then hers :freezing:

Deepest, darkest, Surrey/Hants border. Can't be the cheapest place to insure.

Most of the cost in claims for insurance companies is third party payouts. As you can only ride one at a time, there should be no reason at all for four bikes to cost more than one to insure. I doubt I'd ever receive half what they'd cost to replace in the event of a theft claim though.

Take a look at e-bike insurance. I had 3 bikes for under £200 (dl1000, xr400, ty250) for a few years with them.

I second e-bike especially if you plan to make any changes to your policy because there is no admin fee, I have even had money back when I have made a policy change. :thumbup1:

I use Adrian Flux. The price will depend on your postcode, having secure parking, claim history, the type of licence and any penalties. You can't really compare 1 person to another.

Carole Nash for me... policy includes free European cover + breakdown / recovery included at no extra cost.

I have actually found the nicest motorcycle insurance company IN THE WORLD. The are called WICKED QUOTES in Herefordshire. No call centres, no crappy hold music, no bullshit admin fees etc . Just good old fashioned nice people in a small office. And they are by far one of the cheapest too.

Give them a call. 0844 8800 962
