....More rubbish.

Just because somebody writes "Dakar Adventure" on something, it don't make it any good.

Living in Bradford, I think I'll go out for a debatable "Dakar Adventure" curry and drink some superior Yorkshire "Dakar Adventure" beer Then maybe after about an hour, I'll take a "Dakar Adventure" :9898: (That will be good... :helpsmilie:)

Clearly the name is meaningless but it sparked some interest with me as it says "2 year warranty" ? They don't normally last that long. It also sounds vaguely Italian by name. Having said that I do recognise some of my old washing machine on the swing arm.

Haaa, old washing machines, good one.

It is was it is (Chinese crap) but with a two year warranty & for some kid starting out i reckon its good buying, looks flashy enough & only 1800 quid.

Pass your test & flog it off in two years for a grand & use that as a deposit on 600 thumper.

I certainly wouldn’t be fooled by the title of "Dakar Adventure" and wouldn’t be leaving the UK on a RTW jaunt on it.

Mezo.

Haaa, Hotpoint? or Ariston?

The name is just a take off from Moto Morini.

Ha ha ha. 2 year warranty yeh right. A work colleague bought a new 125 cruiser style thing. Oh how we laughed. Within 3 months of commuting, 1 footplate fell off whilst riding the A4, digging into the tarmac and having him off and 1 of the exhaust mufflers snapped off from the header pipe. Oh and headlight bulbs, i think he was on number 3 before he sold it at 6 months old....

There are no internet reviews on it. If it was a decent bike and being sold at that price then there would certainly be reviews available. It might look ok (and it actually does apart from the headlight which is probably as bright as a candle!) but when the wax wears off it's gonna look, sound and ride to a similar degree of satisfaction as driving a Trabant or a Skoda from the 70's

Obviously it's a proper Adventure bike - it's got a GSA type mudguard…

Bones667 23 Feb 2015 12:15

yeah but the mud guard is to catch the parts that break off and fly up at you doh

Hi guys, a had a derby Terra for a few thousand miles and a cracking bike it was too wish I'd kept it (px on something bigger!) but as far as the motorini is concerned, I had a close look on three occasions in a local dealer, and have to say that for £1800 otr it's not that bad, engine is Honda designed (cbf125) the plastics are like what you would see on a proper enduro machine, I will add that this dealer will not stock bikes that are dodgey.... Don't want or need bad press so there you go .....oh they are designed in Italy :D
