No the brochure doesnt say its stainless but I read it on the xt660 forum somewhere, no rust up to now, bike is wet most of the time with road salt and rain. ( winter uk). I try to wash it down reguarly as every ride out covers it in road crap. Its dark at 4pm and below freezing most night so its wet until I get time in daylight. I am impressed with the design thats gone into the bike nothing seems cheap and flimsy for the money its a great bike. |
