Am I doing something wrong I have sent Pm's to several people and never get a reply I have also replied to messages sent to me but when I look at my PM sent folder it say's I have not sent any messages.

Try to select in the options Request a read receipt for this message
Then you will know if the recipient has read the message.
You won't have any sent messages saved unless you select Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.

There is always a chance that you are just being ignored... :(

Red, if you like send me a generic test PM and I'll let you know if I get something. I'll also send you one so you can test reply settings. (for what it's worth, my post count isn't accurate. Forums can have the oddest little gremlins sometimes.)

Nevermind...the system still won't let me send a PM. I can still receive so feel free to send and I'll report here.

That is a measure to prevent spam. You must have eight (I think) posts on the HUBB before you can send PM. We had problems in the past with people signing up and right away spamming people. Spammer posts provide some telltale signs, so we can usually ban them before they get enough posts to spam your inbox. Contribute to some discussions and you will have your mandatory amount of posts before you know it! :thumbup1:

I get it, Chris. I've tried not to add to a thread unless I have something to say that improves the conversation, even though I feel like I've taken over Red's thread here. It's been two years since I've joined. If I'm a spammer, I'm in for the long con. :innocent:

All that being said, I've not needed the PM system until tonight. It's quite the non-issue. The community email list has worked well.

If that was always the case...........these pages would be blank :rofl::innocent:
