Profile picture problems
 

:helpsmilie:I don't fully understand the whole vBulletin forum business yet, and couldn't find anywhere better to post this question...so... How do I put my profile picture next to my username so that it shows on my posts? Is it an Avatar thingy? If so, I don't seem to be able to select my own piccy, just various bizzare computer cartoon Avatars. What am I missing?

I think i am right in saying you have to be either a gold member or a contributing member, to be able to upload your own pic.

I see... GOLD Member... sounds important, is it a hard status to achieve? And what is meant by a "Contributing Member"?
