Can any one tell me if this fantastic road is open now . as it was closed when i was there a few weeks ago >

According to THIS LINK it's open, but given how traffic notices go here unless you're actually on the road itself there's no way to know for sure.
THIS PAGE has information about other seasonal road closures in Aragón. EDIT: If you're in the area, can you tell me what the temperatures are like this week? I'm planning to be doing some camping next week and it would help with minimizing my gear :) |
Thanks for imfo on the road . I am in the uk at the moment , but going back to pyrenese in sept , then on to moroc for a few weeks.
I would think the weather would be hot in july/ aug . :Beach::Beach:K |
It's more the amount of swing from night cold to hot day at altitude and inland I'm curious about - my house is only at 600m and close to the coast, and even then the temperature and weather differences can be wildly different ... I'll just check weather sites.

Was there a couple weeks ago. The eastern section is closed all the way to Canyon de Anisclo, but west of that it's open. You can connect via the alternative road through Buerba and carry on from the Anisclo viewpoint westwards.
FWIW I was in a rental car, but could have easily done my whole Pyrenees trip (Barcelona > Pobla de Segur > Pamplona > Lleida > Barcelona) in October on a bike. |
