shipping a motorcycle to Europe
 

How do I ship my BMW R1150GS from Los Angeles, CA to Frankfurt, Germany for September 6, 2010?

So far it looks like I have to ride the bike to Vancouver, BC and air freight the bike, I would be on the same flight to Germany.

It's costly but do I have any other options?

With a few friends, I will be riding to Turkey, Georgia, Armenia etc...

enter the continents or countries and see what people have done in the past. continents works better if you are flexible with your ports. let me know how you go and i'll keep you updated if i find out more. follow a few links and companies that the others recommend and see what its like up to date too.

I can't believe there aren't any ports on the East coast you can ship from? A small town by the name of New York City springs to mind. :innocent:
