Glad Richard Thompson was near the top of this thread - one of my all time faves...'ain't nothing in this world like a '52 Vincent and a red-headed girl....' - awesome line!
BTW, anyone else spotted the neat Vincent reference in Ian Dury's excellent 'Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3?' Cheese and pickle...Vincent motorsickle...slap and tickle!' I guess Motorhead's 'Iron Horse - Born to Lose' is a little heavy for the HUBB, but personally I appreciate some of the sentiments re open highways etc Now I'm on a roll, how about one 'about motorcycles and not giving a sh*t!' as Biff introduces Saxon's 'Stallions of the Highway' on some dodgy bootleg live album or other - it's not a patch on their best ever track (IMHO) though - the seminal metal anthem 'Wheels of Steel' - drifting off topic so I'll stop now! |
Maybe time for a bump, so I'll try this. Not really a song about bikes but the performer certainly is:
And this, with a little more bike action in the picture. |
