TFL ULEZ charges
Hi all
Hope this is easy and quick for someone to answer although I may get laughed at for posting about something so parochial on a site like this! I live in the ULEZ and have a car that I only use occasionally, mainly for trips down to Cornwall and back as I walk / use public transport in London no problem. I am concerned that some of the £12.50 daily ULEZ charges on my Road User Charging account seem to exceed the number of times I have driven in the ULEZ and also don't seem to correspond to the days I was using the car. You hear these stories of cloning number plates - is it possible to find out from TFL what days I have been charged for driving in the ULEZ, and where the cameras picked me up? And, if so, is this via a some sort of Data Protection Act Subject Access Request or is there another procedure? TIA Mark |
If you rarely use the car, in your position I'd delete the user account and pay ad hoc. If you get fines coming in you can challenge them and demand pictures in supporting evidence. Cloning has happened, don't know how common it is though.

Have a chat with them on 0343 222 2222 and explain your concerns.
But from now on you should have a notepad and pen in the car and record all your usage. |
All - many thanks. I will do that SAR to TFL.
Cheers Mark |
