I just happened to see a program on this 86 yr old Australian called Doug Sunderland. I think his story may have been mentioned in a ride report on the HUBB a while ago but thought it was worth reposting as the guy is a remarkable character.

At 85 with advanced prostate cancer and pretty much only 1 usable arm he rode around Australia.
At 75 he had a head on collision in India and broke his knee, shoulder and Ankle. He got back on his bike and kept riding.

Great story. I hope I can do something like that when I'm 85

What a great story and a lovely guy.
