Thinking of starting a new project

Well, I am wondering about a new bike project. I was thinking that if all the wheels are the same size then that will ease tyre carrying - I know that having a larger front wheel will make getting over obstacles easier.

I do like the idea of adapting what I have already and I have come across the following "build it " video and was wondering about going for it - my biggest concern though is whether to have soft or hard luggage and where to put the panniers.

This is more like what I had in mind, I met this chap at the adventure travel film festival a few years ago.

Looked like there was more wear on his shoes than on the tyre.

I've often wondered whether with a bigger engine the wheel bit would stay still and the engine + rider just revolve around inside it. :thumbup1:

Mark - your video link doesn't seem to work

Easiest way to put a youtube video in is to paste the CODE part in NOT the https:://youtube etc bit, just the last bit of unique code - in this case: iUbrh0Ac29M

Select that, and click the Youtube button on the edit bar, and done.

As a builder of things I'm just wondering what your 'concept idea' is as the video while pleasant to watch doesn't relate to your words...???? Love a project and not enough going on here on HU, share your idea, here to help and advise....
