I'm from Florida--where you parked your bike for a while...

yes, it works for bike trips. they covered 100% of the costs involved when i was hit by a taxi in nicaragua back in 2012--even the post hospital costs. i buy an annual policy since i travel so much for work and family. although the policies i've had have exclusions for "extreme activities," they do not have exclusions for motorcycle travel.

There are several companies that provide evacuation, and maybe medical insurance such as Medjet Assist, Global Rescue, Allianz, and Ripcord just to name a few of the high profile ones that are routinely advertised on these forums. I've looked carefully at a few of them. You really, really need to talk to them and actually read their policy. The services that they provide are very different, and your expectation of what they provide may not be the reality of what they will provide. An actual endorsement like teevee gave is very good, but don't assume that you are getting the same policy and coverage. It's a real pia, but take the time to read and understand the policy before purchasing. There's no easy answer.

Hi guys...come back to you with my choise...
So for medjet assistance and ripcorda.is only for the US cityzenchip...global assistance only 90days consecutifs maybe can be extand it but didnt go more far away...allianz is also for 90days but possibility to extand it...but at the end i choose the europe assistance it s for 6 months consecutive reconductable and less price...and better rate if injuries so i took this one...one thing less to think about it..now looking forward for an accomodation in santiago...and buy a bike there...and if someone had some advice ..be free..
I think i will try to go to casa matte if they have avaibility...

Ps: why i dont have an email or notification for this post?
Always need to check on my post to see for the reply from you...thats shame
bier cheers
