uk passport holder entering Austria from italy
 

Can anyone let me know if i am able to enter Austria from Italy on a uk passport. we plan to leave the uk on the 17th and enter Austria on the 25th of July we had planned to stay in an Austrian hotel for two nights . or if not possible but can travel through Austria i will go into Germany stay a night there and then re-enter Austria the next day but then return to Germany to stay

any info would be much appreciated

Since beginning of July there are no border controls between Germany-Austria, Italy-Austria or Slovenia-Austria.

I have just returned from a short trip to Slovenia via Austria and Italy.To be on the safe side I had requested a booking information from my host in Slovenia, but there was no check-point at any of the borders where I crossed :thumbup1:
BUT - I cannot supply any infos on hotel check-ins in Austria. I'd suggest you contact a hotel beforehand per email or phone to find out about that....
