Duct Tape = good .. :)
BUT "Scotch" Filament Tape *- that's reinforced with continuous glass yarns, maybe even better than Duct Tape? [although I've never tried the stuff myself .. yet] Anything you bind together with Scotch Filament Tape, so I've been told, will never move; it has massive tensile strength - no stretch - and basically sticks like 'you know wot' to a blanket. You could slap a couple of strips of it onto the bonnet of a car and then tow the car away - it's that strong (allegedly). * Do a Google Search for your favourite supplier. Anyone here tried out and used "Scotch" Filament Tape? .. if so, a brief report would be appreciated, before I go out and order some. Thanks . |
I have recently found the white duck tape which is 'properly' waterproof and a new one, even tougher than duck tape, from the USA, called Gorilla tape.
Looks the same, tears off 'laterally' as duck tape but stronger than duck tape. Available in UK in Home base stores (and probably elsewhere) |
