The amount of bikes leaving the UK has caused a bit of a shortage for the dealers . Loads go to Holland , Belgium ( due to the taxes on bikes over 100bhp) and Eastern Europe .
As said no problems registering bike in UK as long as you have a valid address . You can get short term insurance on the net from as little as one day to a few months , my slovak mate insured his new zx6 this way to take it home and it was cheap !! . I helped a fellow officer from Belguim buy a virtually new Fjr1300 friom the Bristol area , found it on Mcn . It was fully loaded and the euro exchange rate made it a steal . Its worth doing a check online re outstanding finance / theft / write offs - costs about £25.00 or so . :scooter: |
sell and buy back in France
Hi

Hi all.
I operate "motofeirme" here in Ireland. After handling over 100 bikes here for travelers from all over the world, we have had no issues with paperwork. The UK requires an annual MOT inspection, Ireland does not. We speak English and have 100's of bikes available on DoneDeal.ie - Ireland's biggest classifieds site. You pick your bike, I put the seller and you in contact, I pick the bike up and it's here when you arrive, simple. My fee's are minimal, storage secure and you are beside one of the prettiest towns in the world, Kinsale. |
