This is a pretty good achievement and congratulations to this chap for doing it at any age but 17 is especially praiseworthy.
I know there are not too many cyclists visit this site but those who do will appreciate what an achievement this is, I have done cycling trips of up to four months and that was enough, it is not just the effort of riding but trying to find decent nutritious food in developing countries makes it all the more challenging, something you don't notice when assisted by an internal combustion engine.
