KLIM Latitude Jacket (Essex, UK)
As per some of my posts on other bike forums, you can see I've been clearing out the wardrobe and renewing / upgrading my riding gear.
Basically, I saw the above jacket on E-Bay and as it was an XL (as I'm sure you're all aware some companies sizing charts are extremely variable, one persons XL is another's medium!) took a punt and bought it. Sadly, this is an American XL (UK XXL) i.e. it would suit someone with a chest size of 46" (minimum) to 48" (maybe 50 at a push). Gutted, as this is a cracking bit of kit - I know Caveat Emptor etc..... As you know, KLIM kit is not cheap, but it is the absolute dogs dangly bits in terms of quality. These jackets retail at £549.99. I know they're shown cheaper on some of the American websites, but that does not include postage or import duty. I'm not looking to make any money on this jacket, just get back what I paid out. I'm looking for £400 (including postage) / or if you fancy a trip to Essex £380 (and a coffee thrown in!). This is a considerable saving of £150 under list price. Hi Dave. I'm in Essex and would like to try it on. It sounds as though it might fit me. Pete.

Thanks Dave. Brilliant jacket. Unfortunately it was such a great fit on me (44" chest but big shoulders) that I just had to buy it.:mchappy:
Cheers, Pete. |
