FOR SALE: W&H Tanks Long Range Water Tank for Defender
I bought it mid 2001, but have now sold the Defender.
Fits in rear footwell. £250 plus p&p. |
Hiya...
I have a van-body 110 without a rear footwell. I guess you mean this tank fits in front of the seats in a station wagon 110? Whats it made of? Aluminium? Does it have a tap? What capacity is it? LRN ------------------ Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but wheeltracks..... tread lightly. |
It fits into the footwell between the rear passenger doors of a station wagon 110, ie immediately behind the driver and front passenger seats. It is made of stainless steel.
There is a pipe for fitting a tap on each side. I fitted a flexible hose with a tap on the end to the RHS so that I could hang it out the door to wash my hands etc. (tip: tape a kitchen plunger soap dispenser to the side of the tank with gaffer tape). Capacity is claimed to be 66 litres, but I’ve never checked it. |
Hiya Terry
Ive just realised I have two cargo pods directly behind my front seats so it wouldnt fit http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/frown.gif Thanks all the same though. LRN ------------------ Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but wheeltracks..... tread lightly. |
