Normal rack good, but would also consider light weight metal rack for soft luggage.

Just sold my 2011 Tiger 800 and got a set of black touratech pannier rails.

There not in perfect nick and you may need to get some replacement screws/washers as one of the originals has corroded pretty quick.

Also got a set of white Ardcases that were used with them if there of interest.

Im only about 40 miles from you if you want to have a look.
