Tom,

How about a trip down to the bottom of Spain, Algeciras, then jump the ferry to Ceuta, Morocco, and have a week in a fantastic country.:palm:

The more I think of a 1 ~ 2 ~ 3 week jaunt to Morocco, the more I want to do it.:funmeteryes:

I hope to sample Morocco late summer 2008, back end of September maybe.

I would recommend trying to get as much mechanical practice with the bike as you can now. I would change all the fluids and filters for practice so you will be used to taking the bike apart and possibly able to fix a problem on the road.

You should read up as much you can about the problems specific to your model of bike that other travelers have had and try to plan a solution for in case you have the same problem.

Great idea!!! I've had plenty of experience with working on and re-building 2 strokes so I guess I should get a bit of 4 stroke practice in. The hardest bit is getting the timing right.
