How to remove and fit tyres - An online guide
Found this whilst browsing for bits and pieces.
DirtBikeStore.com Ltd Tyre Fitting Guide Tyre Fitting Guide A very good guide for all those new to doing your own tyres and puntures. |
Plus
A good idea is to mark the tyre at the valve, so that the tyre can be replaced in the same position. Also check the inside of the tyre where the puncture is in the tube, in case there is still something sharp in there. Check carefully so not to cut your fingers.

Also worth noting and what i see 99% of people doing incorrectly is:
When replacing an inner tube, the nut on the valve is ONLY intended as fitting aid. Once the tube is inflated, the nut should be wound all the way up to the valve cap and NOT tightened to the rim. Tightening to the rim will make the chances of the valve ripping off much higher when you get a flat or the tyre moves at low pressures. |
