pumps
While having some work done on my bicycle, I browsed the shop and found an electric pump. It cost $15usd and works great. It is designed to be used with a cars cigarette lighter (12v). This works fine with my BMW 12v adapters. The pump is light and has worked well for the past year. The air pressure gauge is right on the money. Don't skip a good bicycle shop if you're after a light-weight pump.

I haven't dealt with them, but I've heard that some German sites that say "only sell in Germany" don't speak/write English. I'd give 'em a shot. It might help if you have a translator though.

I had one of those bikers dream pieces if $£*^%. The time it too me to stop all the leaks in the various hose connections I could have pumped the tyre up with a hand pump and had a lager or 2. It's also rumoured that after about 2 or 3 uses it shatters in tiny little pieces leaving you shouting and kicking and spitting with rage.
I now use a decent double action (high & low volume/pressure), metal housed, bicycle pump I bought from Halfords and have used it twice to pump the rear up from flat reasonably effortlessly. |
