Angola
Hi,
I have read the reports on Angola from November last year. Besides landmines, any update on other problems particularly in SW Angola ? Thanks, Darryl |
Hi there,
We're now in Windhoek and met 2 bikers who just came down Angola. They said no problems at all! It helps if you speak a little bit of portugese. The also told me Angola has the niced bread in the world... Cheers, Corne |
Thanks Corne,
Busy with the phrase book at the moment. Rgds, Darryl |
Hi Darryl and welcome to the HUBB!
Assume you already did a Search on Angola (Search box is on top right of every page). You'll get 63 documents from the HUBB and the website, including some as recent as last month. Here's one to get you started: Cameroon-Congo-DRC-Angola-Namibia Good luck with your trip, and keep in touch! Just came through Angola driving the inland Northern to Southern route. The further south you get the more developed it gets. Lubango even has a supermarket! Just brave yourself for the bad roads you will encounter. We mostly camped at missions and sometimes at villages, great fun but you will attract a lot of attention......

Hi Susan,
[B]Hi Darryl and welcome to the HUBB! Thanks, apologies for the late reply but I haven't visited for a while. I did check the archive before posting but have now returned from a great trip so I guess it's not needed anymore. Thanks again, Darryl |

Hey Meindert (gozell), are you the same Meindert we met at Big Milly's Backyard in Ghana, together with Graham the Englishman? Great that you managed to get through! Greetz, Andres and Marre |
