We made it through the Santa Catarina less than a week ago and the rainfall was just massive, roads started to detoriate and sharp "death-holes" (sometimes deeper than the diameter of your front wheel!) appeared here-and-there in tarmac. Few days more and they'de be unridable. Visibility is just some ten or less meters in the dense rain-fog and brazilian drivers mostly don't use lights!

So be cautios there when on the bike.
