Kyrgyzstan situation
 

Hi is there anyone near Kyrgystan or actually there, interested to know situation as read in Russian newspapers of riots against Ethic Russians and turks etc, have friends biking through China to the Stans and wondering about them being mistaken for ethic russians, may calm down and they are not due there for about a month, Any info appreictaed

Have a Kyrgyz visa for this summer but hesitating whether to visit or not.

A constitutional referendum, in order to reduce presidential powers and "strengthen democracy," is scheduled to be held on 27 June 2010, general elections would then follow on 10 October 2010.

Guess that we will just have to wait and see.

Anyone with inside information?
