road between Bam and Dalbandin
 

hey g'day!

we have a turtle of a landcruiser that hates going uphill and he's wondering what the road is like between Bam in Iran and Dalbandin in Pakistan.

Google maps tell us it's 715km between Bam and Dalbandin and we're hoping to cross the distance in one day. If not perhaps we can stay at the border in Taftan.

Checkpoints and escort changeovers will probably take quite some time in between driving, but if the road isn't too bad and there's not much climbing for the poor old straight six diesel then it might be doable if we leave at daylight.

Anyone that can shed some light on this who has done this leg of the trip?
