Senderos (terrorists) in Peru
 

Apparently, the Sendero Luminosos are becoming active in Peru again. They just took and released hostages in Toccate. (search BBC.com news for more info) We were also told by a Peruvian that they were active near Colcabamba and along that road. We took the road just west of that one with NO problems.
