Travel insurance???

Can anyone recommend a travel insurance company that will let you ride over 250cc and WILL cover any excess you have to pay in the event of an accident.

Travel insurance direct for example will cover you riding any size motorcycle that you are licensed for in your own country but WILL NOT cover any excess you have to pay in the event of an accident.

Thanks for your time.

Off to India riding in November and Thailand in February

Nobody will be able to answer this without knowing which country you are from, I have seen some policies in the UK which offer a smaller excess but you pay a larger premium in the first instance.

The question was where are you from, country of origin?

Sorry, Australia

world nomads will cover you (as far as it goes) for motorbikes but I doubt whether it will cover you for material damage in the case of an accident. Most do have personal liability cover so you would need to read the fine print to see what exclusions they have

Check out STA Travel. I've used them for three long rides and have been happy with the cost and coverage. I'm American and have no idea of STA terms in Australia but worth a look. Single and Multi-Trip Insurance | STA Travel
