US / Mexican Border to Mexico City
 

Hi this is a very common question but nothing has been posted recently. I'm looking at crossing the border in East Texas & traveling to Mexico City.

What is the best place to cross & nicest ride to Mexico City?

If you cross at McAllen?Reynosa take 40 then cut south onto 35 to Montemorelos, 85 to Linares 58 west to 57 south through San Luis Potosi Queretero or take a detour to San Miguel de Allende which is real nice Get back on 57 to Atlacomulco and catch 5 which is nice twisties down into the DF
