Buying a Bike in USA
 

Hi, I'm from Australia and wondered if anyone knows about buying a bike in the US as a foreigner( as opposed to importing one). Cheers Rob

The USA is a great place to buy second hand bike.
The ADVrider flea market in particular is a very good place to find one, as the seller will be a like minded individual.

I've bought 4 bikes sight unseen that way, with more than satisfactory results.

Are you a non- US citizen and had no hassles getting rego and insurance? What Ststes did you buy and sell in?

I'm planning a trip to the US ( California or Oregon as start point then head East with loop into Canada.
