Camping I-95
 

I’m planning a trip along I95 and I want to do some scenic camping along the way. Anyone have a tip?

ALL along I-95, start to end, or a specific section?

My tip is to come off the interstate and head for the coast - go down the Jersey shore, take the Cape May ferry and the North Channel bridge and head for the Outer Banks. Loads of interesting campgrounds along that route. We stayed at Virginia Beach, Great Dismal Swamp and Ocracoke when we rode that area a few years ago.

We're not doing the southern part (to Jacksonville / St Augustine) until this spring. I'll let you know then what we found but this is what we came across on a previous trip (campground in Florida) :
