can i leave my bike in a country with carnet de passage
 

hello
my name is latoya and planning to do a big trip. the only problem is that i have to go back and forward for work two times and need to leave my bike there for maximum of a week.
i know this is not a problem in the european union but once you go outside the european union how does this work then? are they gonna take my money from the carnet de passage ?

We had someone here in OZ from Germany, as his vehicle was not recorded in his passport, he flew back and returned a few month later.

Officially I was not allowed to drive the vehicle, and he was not allowed to leave the country with out it and I wouldn't do it in some other countries.

Sometimes one can bend the rules but usually not.
