Does anyone have any experience of trying to enter USA with Sudan in passport?
 

A few years ago we did a trip down the East coast of Africa, from UK to Cape Town via Sudan.

We now have a Sudanese visa and stamp in our passports, which is obviously an issue for entering the USA. Apparently we now have to apply for a US visa in the UK and have an interview at the embassy.

Has anyone got any recent experience of this? Do they actually easily give you a visa regardless? And any idea on how long this will last - will this be the case when we get a new passport and no longer have the Sudanese visa/stamp inside or is this the case forever now?
