extending carnet in Egypt

We are new here , we are in Egypt at the moment and would like to extend our carnet, does anyone have any idea where this can be done.

You can't extend it "in Egypt" you need to contact your original issuing authority and see what they need to renew it. Generally you give them money, send your carnet back via courier, and they send you a new one with the last entry sheet in the front. Be super careful choosing your courier to ensure it's through a main office of DHL/FEDEX and not a sub branch in the middle of nowhere.
