Does Anyone Know The Name Of The Author Of The Famous Motorcycle Trip Across Or Down Europe. I Think It Was Called "all The Way Down" Or All The Way Across"

Perhaps you mean "Long Way Round" by Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman? Or the sequel "Long Way Down"? They certainly are famous stories because of who they are, though personally I was not impressed with either one compared to other tales I have read.
