How Can find Budget Places for Trip?

Hi, I shivani and I am a Marketer. And I am planning Solo traveling and It's really hard to find a Budget trip for me. Please Suggest me best places for travel in North India in Budget.

Take a tent and camp for free.

Take a small bike. Less fuel needed.

Cook your own food.

With all due respect, with few exceptions I would not recommend wild camping for a woman travelling alone in India, and street food is so cheap you don't save much by cooking on your own (that being said, it may save you from food poisoning)

Unfortunately I found that hotels are very expensive in India, and few places have hostels. I typically used Google (with the 'budget accommodation' filter) but even then it was hard. The FB group HV Kumar can give more specific advice depending on your route.
