Journaling - what do you keep track of?
Some of us keep pretty free-form journals, some none at all, some like to make sure that, if nothing else, we record a few specific things every day. For those of you in the latter camp, I'm curious what exactly you try and keep track of, because maybe I'd benefit from keeping track of it too. :)
For me it's: - Best thing today - Worst thing today - Where I finished the day (and thus where I started the next day) - When I started and stopped riding - How much fuel I purchased that day (easier than tracking how much I used) - How far I went - Some general notes about the day. |
I may not come this way again...
... but then again I (or someone I know) might?
I tend not to keep too many numbers, other than the daily mileage... I like to keep a record of the particular places I've visited, and particularly interesting people I've met - plus hotels / restaurants / bike/spares shops that might be handy in the future, or just as a memory of a particularly good meal... xxx |

I usually think when reading some of the bloggs people keep, Gee! that's a lot of numbers being crunched? It'll be a job in it self keeping track of all the statistics? |
