Land border USA to Mexico
Any advice on the easiest border crossing. Bought a US registered motorbike and heading down to Yucatan. Also loads of different info on the Mexico tourist card but I'm a technical dinosaur. Anybody got one at the border instead of online upfront? Thanks in advance Adrian

You want to avoid the busiest one in Tijuana, otherwise it is pretty much the same. One in Nogales isn't bad and one in Nacos very small if they even let bikes through now I haven't been there since before the pandemic.

We crossed over at Colombia Texas last year - we were the only ones crossing about 9am, nice staff and very easy, took about 15 minutes in total.
The nearby crossing at Laredo (20 minutes away), where we stayed the previous evening, was packed with long queues etc. The difference was unbelievable. |

No lorries to pass, not 1 single person at the window in front of us. Unbelievable, if I hadn’t been there - it’s a no-brainier for me. |
Seconding the Colombia crossing. It is the way to go. I've crossed here a number of times and it is nearly always empty and the people are very helpful and friendly. This is the place to cross on the eastern side of the country. Laredo is packed with cars, trucks and scammers who will "help" with your paperwork.
