You will need to contact a Chinese tour operator months in advance, to arrange your crossing, and provide a mandatory guide to follow you. But Tibet is probably among the most complicated, and costly areas with the red tape, and there have been travel restrictions in place, don´t know what current situation is. And did I mention, that even if possible, it will NOT be cheap. Especially Tibet. |
