Nicaragua motorcycle rental advice?
 

Hoping to travel in Nicaragua on a 200cc plus motorcycl in Dec 2020....can anyone suggest local rentals or anyone who may rent thier personal bike out for up to 3 weeks? Mark 07770 861509

most of the better places have shuttered after the economic downturn that started in april, 2018. as far as i know, the only place to rent small bikes is in san juan del sur. i don't think they prohibit taking the bike anywhere in the country, just keep in mind that they are small local operations, so if something happens to the bike while you're several hundred or less miles away, you'll be on your own.

Thanks for the info. Do you think a cross-border rental is unlikely then from neighbouring countries?

not that i'm an expert, but i have never heard of anyone successfully renting a bike in one CA country and being allowed to take it to another.
