From quebec, have limited license, can I still travel?

I live in quebec (canada) and here, your first license has a closure : You have to ride with someone who's had their "real" license for 2 years and follow him around for 11 months. So now I'm wondering where could I go to ride, alone, legally, in a great climate? I don't care if I have to take a license course for a day or if I have to do an exam there but I assume I would need a visa to take such things there...? It's my first time travelling, if that is of any importance.

I will fly there and "loan"; "rent" (dunno the english term, I'm sure you understand) a bike for a week.

If I get an international permit the limitation still applies so that's useless...

Some of us succeeded at getting an international drivers license that did not stipulate: Learner, each country or province has there own laws and interpretations (then it is a matter of just showing, that document). Do not try it in Ontario, they will want to see your permit, and they will apply the restriction written on it. However, some motorcycle association will help you to find riding partners and let you ride with them after a small verification of your abilities.
