A number of years ago I remember watching a show on PBS here in the states about a rich american who goes to china and drives around on a BMW dose anyone remember this if so is it available on DVD if not any information would be appreciated

The book was called "Investment W**ker", er sorry, I mean "Investment Biker" by Jim Rogers.

Not sure whether there is a DVD. I hope not.

Jim made Charlie B and Ewan McG seem humble and normal, IMHO.

They "forgot" to mention in the book that he had a 500K expedition to help him, with a support vehicle and all. Same with the McGreggor guy now on TV.

this had to be some time in the mid eighties i will look at the book and see if its the one i was thinking of thanks......
