Riding with passenger in Guatemala
Has anybody been to Guatemala with a passenger in 2013? Do they enforce the no passenger law? If so, how can my wife and I travel thru to El Salvador?
Any help would be appreciated. ?c? Darren42? c? |
Don't sweat it, they don't seem to enforce any laws. Here in the city you should at least wear a helmet (though I have gotten away without several times) and your passenger should too (though I brought one to El Salvador and back without).
Officially, you need a reflective vest with your license plate number on it, and stickers with your plate number on the back of your helmet. Everyone rides with passengers. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions while in Guate. |
Uh no.
I took this picture in san Pedro on Lake Peten Itza in feb. 2013. Oh thats ole Busta in the foreground. There were 6 on this motorcycle. But I also saw a family of 7 on a 125cc at the fair in santa elena.
