I AM DIMITRIS FROM GREECE.
I AM PLANNING ME AND MY BROTHER TO TRAVEL ALL AROUND THE WORLD BY MOTORCYCLE.WE WILL SLEEP IN A TEND(SOMETIMES HOSTELS) AND EAT CHEAP STREET FOOD.4 YEARS TRIP 70 COUNTRIES.

MY QUESTION IS..
ARE 70.000 EUROS ENOUGHT TO COMPLETE THE RTW??FOR 4 YEARS.2 BIKES

€35k per person for 4 years = €8.5k per year, around $10000 USD per year - $30 USD per day. I'd say that would be pretty tight; better off going for two years and having a better time.

Just keep riding until you run out of money !!

I think that is doable.... Race through the expensive countries, spend lots of time in the cheap ones !!

Work on the Road?
 

Perhaps take some breaks along the way? Find work to get extra money? This could work in certain places.
Anytime you are moving on the bikes, staying in Hostels, eating in restaurants, crossing borders, shipping your bikes ... your money will go fairly quickly. No real way around this. (unless your English, in which case you can live in your tent and eat Sardines and Saltines for a year! :cool4: )

But if you can stay in one place a while your costs can be very low. Monthly rentals are much cheaper than daily rates. Cooking in your own house/apartment is cheaper than restaurants. Also, taking a month or two break is a good time to work on bikes, contact family ... or even fly home for a visit.

PRETTY TIGHT?????? You must be kidding! That's plenty enough!! If the bikes are ready, in perfect condition, then it is a nice budget.
Now, the question is, what route will you take. Shipments are costly. And if you want to do a five continents trip, you're going to have to do a few of them. Rough estimation: 1000$ per shipment. Then, if it's by boat, you will have to get a hotel, buy your food, and so on.
Big costs:
- petrol
- shipments
- hotels
The coldest the country, the less needed is the hotel. Trust me. When it's hot, you need to wash everyday. When you're freezing your but', well...
Do a careful planing of your route, it helps a lot, and it will be easier for us to give you advices.

If you don't do much mileage, live in a tent and eat grass, $30 is plenty. If you ship your bike, ride even 200 miles per day, eat well and have a beer in the evening, $30 is tight; insurance, shipping, fuel, beer, accommodation, medical insurance etc etc has to come out of that.
