Route documentation - drawing a route on a map
 

I would like to document our route on a map like this one:
Dakar 2015: Route in Chile bestätigt

Does anybody know a (free) software or site I could enter my waypoint and generate a nice map?

Try OSM mapping there is a thread on the forum under the Navigation section with links to the site, I am using it as we speak in Thailand and Laos. Works on Garmin, but if you don't have Garmin you can still download Garmin Basecamp and use it on a laptop to plan
