Hello everyone!

On 30th of January I will start my 6-months trip around South America on a Honda NX 650 starting from my country Colombia. I would love to meet other travellers and motorcycle enthusiasts. As I have never travelled by motorccyle to other countries I am open to any advice you might have. Please mail me!

Not really an awnser on your question, but more a question.
Somewhere around feb/march 2003 I will be in South America on my way north.
I really want to spend a few day's on the white beaches of Venezuela, but.....
Most people say Colombia is not safe for motorcycle-travel and my only altenative is a 2000 Km "road" through the Amazone (brrrr)

Can you give some more info on safe traveling in your country?
