selling bike in the US
 

Im an Australian looking at taking a bike to the US. When Im done I'd like to sell it in the US before leaving. Is this possible? Australia doesnt allow for the registration of imported bikes otherwise I would buy one in the US and ship home. Anyone have any ideas?

The short answer is simple - forget it. If you thought it was hard to bring a bike into Oz, you ain't seen nuthin!

Buy it and sell it in the US.

NOTE: it CAN be done - but no way it's worth it. OLD bikes and specials etc in some states etc etc if you are willing to go to the trouble and expense and are a US citizen etc...
